Love Wins Here

An LGBTQ+ wedding venue in San Diego, owned by two grooms

We are Todd and Bruno. We built this gay-owned vineyard estate in the hills of Jamul, and whoever you love, your wedding belongs here.

Our story

More than LGBTQ+ friendly. LGBTQ+ owned.

Plenty of venues will tell you they are LGBTQ+ friendly. We can tell you something simpler: we are Todd and Bruno, a married same-sex couple, and this estate is our home.

We did not add a rainbow page to someone else's venue. We planted the vineyard, raised the cypress trees, and built the stone altar where couples now marry.

Villa San Giovese began with a simple dream: a place where love is celebrated, where memories are made, and where people feel connected the moment they arrive. Todd carried the values of his years as a naval officer, service, hospitality, and bringing people together, while Bruno grew up in a large, lively French family that taught him a home is meant to be shared, the way the villas and countryside of Europe always are. That is the estate we built, a place for family, friends, great food, laughter, and the moments that unfold naturally.

When you tour the villa, you tour it with us. And when your day comes, you will be celebrating with two people who know exactly what it means to stand at that altar.

Welcome, fully

What you will never have to explain here

Planning a same sex wedding too often comes with a quiet second job: reading vendor websites for clues, bracing for the pause on the phone, correcting forms that assume a bride and a groom.

Not here. Our tour form asks for your names, on purpose. Two brides, two grooms, nonbinary partners, every family configuration is welcome at our altar, and none of it needs an asterisk.

The caterers, photographers, and planners we recommend are people we trust with our own community. If a vendor is on our list, you will never have an awkward conversation with them.

Nothing separate

Same estate, same packages, nothing separate

There is no special program for a gay wedding here, because there does not need to be one. Every package, every lawn, and every sunset on this hillside is the one every couple gets.

Explore weddings at the villa, our all-inclusive elopement packages, or micro-weddings for your closest people. The welcome is identical on every page, and at every altar.
